Last week, Finca La Emperatriz took part in the Diálogos de Cocina (Kitchen Dialogues) conference, a gathering organised by chefs from the Eurotoques organisation to generate a space for reflection and promote the building of creative synergies. The 4th edition of the conference examined the role of craftsmanship in both the gastronomic environment and society in general.
At Finca La Emperatriz we wanted to express our opinion on craftsmanship to all those attending, so they were given a free booklet entitled Reflections on Craftsmanship over a Glass of Wine. The booklet also came with a sprig of rosemary, which brought the aroma of our estate all the way to the Basque Culinary Center.
The conference participants were also able to enjoy our Finca La Emperatriz Terruño 2008 and Finca La Emperatriz Viura 2012 wines, which were served during the brunch offered at the BCC. Participants could also relax and enjoy a break in the special lounge provided by Finca La Emperatriz.
The conference comprised an intense few days in which we were able to share ideas and dialogues with many of the leading lights in Spanish cuisine.
Kitchen Dialogues is continuing with the Have A Food Time initiative, in which we are also participating. Have A Food Time is a new platform designed to continue the conversation beyond the two days on which the conference took place.
